Tjuvholmen was once a haven for smugglers, pirates and criminals. Today it is a modern hideaway, on a small island in the middle of the city centre. There is still a lot of theft going on here. Guests have a tired tendency to be robbed of their everyday life when they stay at THE THIEF.
The thief has filled the hotel with valuable works of art, modern design and Nordic cuisine with an international twist. Refugees can enjoy refreshing proximity to the sea and great outdoor areas, or take a stroll across the bridge to important financial institutions, shopping areas and cultural offerings. But the vast majority come here to experience THE THIEF’s informal presence.
