As
a Chef, I will take responsibility for the efficient operation of:
Follow the guidelines and standards set by the Chef de Cuisine.
Prepare a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, and other foods for cooking on broilers, ovens, grills, etc. according to Six Senses processes and standards.
Follow the proper presentation and garnish for all dishes.
Know and consistently adhere to standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards, and kitchen guidelines. Following the standards of Six Senses Ibiza, Sustainability and Well-being.
Store and maintain sufficient levels of food products at line posts to ensure a smooth service period.
Ensure that all equipment and work area are kept clean and in good working condition.
Maintain the guidelines and rules of service and operation of Six Senses Ibiza. Maintain and exceed performance benchmarks.
Strictly adhere to LQA rules and guest reviews.
Perform any additional tasks assigned to me by the Chef de Cuisine, Sous Chef or Junior Sous Chef.
Baccalaureate Degree, Vocational Training, Culinary Arts or equivalent. A diploma/bachelor’s degree in hospitality from a recognized hospitality school is preferred.
At least two years of cooking experience at a full-service à la carte establishment or similar.
Knowledge of the use of grilling equipment and understanding of meat and fish cooking, knife dexterity, and understanding of the “farm to table” concept.
Valid food handler certificate.
Proficiency in English preferred.
Valid European Union work permit.
