Spa and Boutique Manager

Situated on the stunning coastline of NSW’s Cabarita Beach, Halcyon House is a 22-room luxury boutique hotel (20 minutes south of the Gold Coast Airport) with its own day spa, Halcyon House provides the ultimate escape with six stunningly appointed treatment rooms, a boutique, tranquil relaxation area, luxurious change room facilities, and a unique dome-shaped steam room.

This exciting role gives you the opportunity to utilise your skills to effectively plan, organise and collaborate towards a highly productive spa and boutique.

THE ROLE 

• Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the day spa and boutique.
• Responsible for the sourcing and purchasing of brands for the boutique.
• Experience with Shopify.
• This is a hands on role that requires day to day running of the boutique, spa and reception across a 7 day rotating roster. Weekend work is essential.
• Create strategic plans to deliver financial targets and elevate the brand.
• Ensure the team delivers the desired service standards and create a high-performance culture.
• Recruit, train and motivate the reception and boutique team and therapist team where required.
• Provide the level of service that creates loyalty with guests ensuring their return.
• Ensure the team delivers a personalised guest experience in accordance with the brand guidelines.
• Maintain a keen interest in global health, wellness, and beauty trends.
• Establish and maintain quality relationships with internal and external team members and suppliers.
• Ensure the impeccable cleanliness and presentation of the Spa.

YOUR EXPERIENCE 

• Previous Spa management experience is essential.
• Previous retail experience for a luxury brand is preferred.
• A diploma-level qualification in Beauty and/or Massage Therapy is preferred but not essential.
• Comprehensive understanding of business performance and sales focus.
• Demonstrated ability to drive retail and revenue to meet targets.
• Be a visible leader with the ability to train, develop and support your team.
• The ability to deliver exceptional customer service.
• High level of organisation with an eye for detail.
• Vibrant personality and excellent presentation.
• Someone who can think outside the box to ensure continuous improvement of the operation.
