A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A SPA RECEPTIONIST AT THE WESTIN LONDON CITY

What you’ll be doing…

Reporting to the SPA supervisor, you can expect your working day to include the following..

• Welcome all guests to the Spa, ensuring any special requirements are met and putting guests at ease before their treatment
• Perform reception duties including answering the phone and taking bookings, processing payments and following cashiering procedures
• Be aware of regular guests and ensure their expectations are exceeded whenever possible
• Selling and up selling of retail products, spa treatments and packages
• Handle inappropriate guest behaviour by following Marriott International standard operating procedures for Inappropriate conduct for guests and therapists, leading up to and including stopping a treatment or service and informing supervisor/manager.

To succeed in the role of Spa Receptionist , you will need the following qualities and skills:

• We are looking for someone with a pleasant and welcoming manner
• Passionate about providing personalised service to our guests
• Flexible and adaptable to different working conditions & hours
• Forward thinking and promotes new ideas
• Oral and written fluency in English. Additional language will be considered a plus
• Has a positive attitude, and is flexible and adaptable to different working shift patterns and conditions.
• Previous experience for at least 6 months of a similar role within a SPA environment
