Responsibilities include:
To ensure 4 star standards of service are achieved at all times.
To perform in a professional and courteous manner with all customers (internal & external).
To offer an in-depth knowledge of the spa services and hotel services in general.
To ensure all hygiene regulations are adhered to at all times.
To comply with statutory and legal requirements for Health & Safety, Fire, Hygiene and Employment.
To report to duty on time, in the correct uniform
To clean all areas to the spa standards set out in departmental SOP.
Greeting and welcoming guests as they arrive at the spa
Providing clients with clean towels, robes, and slippers as needed
Assisting clients in changing and understanding the spa policies and procedures
Maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of the spa’s common areas, including lounges, saunas, steam rooms, and relaxation rooms
Regularly cleaning and sanitizing spa equipment and facilities
Monitoring and stocking supplies in treatment rooms and restrooms
Assisting therapists and technicians with various tasks, such as preparing rooms for treatments, setting up equipment, or fetching supplies
Ensuring the spa’s amenities, such as water dispensers, snacks, and reading materials, are readily available for guests
Addressing client inquiries and concerns in a professional and timely manner
Promoting spa services and products to guests, as well as assisting with sales and upselling
Following all health and safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a clean and safe environment for both guests and staff
Collaborating with other spa staff members to ensure a seamless and positive spa experience for clients.
Opening and closing of Spa
Waste disposal: Empty and clean waste bins and ensure proper disposal of trash.
Reporting maintenance issues: Notify the management of any maintenance or repair needs in guest rooms or common areas.
Adhering to safety and sanitation standards: Follow established safety and sanitation procedures to ensure a clean and safe environment for guests and staff.
Attending training sessions: Required to participate in training sessions to learn new cleaning techniques or safety procedures.
