Harmony Beauty & Day Spa is located in the heart of The Gap (inside The Gap Village Shopping Centre), and we’ve been here for 20+ years! We are looking for an experienced beauty/skin therapist to join our treatments team.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Work in a recently updated clinic with fresh furnishings, equipment, lighting, client & staff comforts, and more! We are incredibly proud of our space and we are looking for the right fit to flourish with it.

Location: The Gap Village Shopping Centre. Free parking & easy public transport access.

Qualifications: Minimum Cert 3 qualification in beauty therapy. Diploma qualification preferred.

Hours:

• Open Monday-Saturday, with flexible roster arrangements available.
• You will be required to work one or two evenings (to 7pm) and Saturdays.
• Opportunities for rostered Saturdays off.
• Closed Sundays and Public Holidays.

Pay Rate: Competitive rate of $33 – $50 per hour, based on skills & experience + incentives. Permanent opportunities available.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Eyebrow waxing, tinting and staining
• Lash tinting and lash lifts
• Facial and body waxing (including intimate female waxing)
• Manicures and pedicures (spa style, including shellac polish)
• Provide tailored facials using Dermalogica products
• Body rituals including relaxation and hot stone massage, and body wraps
• Consult with clients to deliver personalised care and high quality service
• Promote clinic treatments and recommend skincare products products
• Be able to work independently while looking after business in the store
• Use online booking software to take bookings, check out clients and sell products

We proudly use quality products from Dermalogica, Pure Fiji, Elleebana, Bronsun & Minetan.

Pay rate will reflect current experience and skills from above.

To be successful you should:

• Be confident working by yourself and in a cohesive team
• Deliver high quality service with personalised care and attention
• Build a base of clientele through quality customer service
• Ideally have experience in (not required) – spray tanning, microdermabrasion, skin peels, electrolysis, lash extensions, and/or IPL laser treatments.
• Previous experience with Dermalogica is a big plus!
